Good design anticipates. For this waterfront Jamestown home, we were handed a blank slate by architect Glen Fontecchio and charged with creating a primarysuite worthy of a five-star retreat — one that would meet a full standard of universal design, seamlessly and without compromise.

The bathroom sets the tone: white countertops, mosaic stone, mocha porcelain floors and custom walnut cabinetry that grounds it all in warmth. With a roll-in shower and wide passageways, accessibility requirements are met without announcing themselves.

For these immaculate homeowners, a place for everything was non-negotiable. Lit medicine cabinets, floating vanities and custom millwork throughout quietly swallow anything that isn't beautiful to look at. The custom platform bed, wide-plank Carlisle floors and a fully designed walk-in closet carry the same intention into the bedroom.
