Traditional Meets Contemporary
Providence, RI
When these London-transplant homeowners called us in to rescue a very green (literally) kitchen in their stately East Side brick home, the ask was modern but measured: fresh and updated, without alienating future buyers.
The existing cabinetry stayed, repainted in two tones — a bright off-white and a deep brown faux finish — to add dimension without starting from scratch. New countertops in two complementary quartz finishes, a modern stone mosaic backsplash and a layered lighting plan did the heavy lifting. Red leather chairs around the existing table delivered exactly the right amount of personality.
Small project. Enormous attention to detail.
In the end, it's never about how many ideas you bring — it's about how well you choose them.
